I am the videoconferencing
coordinator for the college and help all
staff in the arrangement and delivery
of study sessions via videoconferencing.
This is only a very small part of my work
where I am a lecturer on the PGCE/Cert
Ed ( teacher training) course.

Have you
had any experience before?:
Yes, lots, both within the UK and internationally,
but the students will probably not be
very experienced
Subjects of the videoconferences,
themes you are interested in:
Absolutely anything at all that would
be of interest to students in our age
range (14 – 114)
We are particularly interested in finding
links for language students in Spain,
France and Germany
Ages of students you want them
to participate:
Mainly 16-19, but a little younger would
be OK, and we would be very interested
in groups of mature students to link with
Languages you want students to
use during videoconferences:
English, but target language for language
students ( French, Spanish, German)

We have high spec equipment and are able
to link IP or ISDN6 in purpose designed
studios. We have net meeting for data
sharing.

| VIDEOCONFERENCES
EUROPEAN PROJECT
 The
aim of this project is to create a net of schools
wishing to participate in educational video-conferences.
Teachers would prepare and schedule the different
sessions, where schools with very different backgrounds
